The recipe reminds me of Moroccan Haroset Balls, which are made for Passover. So interesting that they’re so similar.

Always read that book to my children on Christmas Eve. Thanks for the recipe for sugar plums. I don't believe I ever came across one.

Oh how wonderful! I can make this! You sent right to my husband's old copy of ther poem . His mom read it to him and she passed it on to our oldest son. Now I have the recipe and we'll read and beat by it! xoxo for a wonder and as always beautiful story!
