Your face painting experience made me chuckle. Sometimes speed wins when it comes to children and their patience. I love your fall foliage painting. Nice way to celebrate the waning colors as I go outside to rake leaves.
Your beautiful painting recalls the ruby red fall leaves we just enjoyed in New England. The fall splendor seems far away back in still-steaming LA. The sausage ratatouille with cornmeal biscuits looks and sounds delish. Thanks, Vicki!
Thanks Ruth! Truthfully, the landscape was done last year when we actually had red foliage. This year everything was yellow. Enjoy the heat, we had a few flurries yesterday.
The hardest part was peeling the butternut squash. I bought it a farm stand as I am too stubborn to buy it already peeled in those plastic boxes at the grocery store.

♥️ Congrats on surviving the insufferable
Ms. M! I think you were more keen to what kids would enjoy!
Your recipe sounds yummy! You have a way of making everything sound delicious!
Thanks Peggy! I don't know, Ms. M. had a longer line than I did!
Don’t worry about it at all, the public is hard to please! Very fickle! Have fun getting ready for Thanksgiving!💓
Thanks! You too.
Amy, great recipe and painting. Your experience with the face painting artist really made me laugh.
Thanks Bernadette! Glad the story made you laugh!

Thanks, Vicki. Enjoy the flurries. Your painting and kitchen creations are inspiring!
A portfolio in your pocket! Life moves pretty fast, doesn’t it?
(The recipe sounds phenomenal. I’m working up my courage to try it)

Thanks Amy. We are drowning in leaves here! I raked today too.
