Adding worms to the compost makes even better compost. We have a vermicompost system (worms) that works pretty well. We get them from Uncle Jim: https://unclejimswormfarm.com/get-started/

Dill can get away from you! We used to sell quite a bit at the farmer’s market.

I didn't know dill could be planted from seed at such cool temperatures--what a great tip and one that I will use as soon as I buy some seeds. Thanks for the delicious recipe too!

I’ve not done well with composting (though I do make a mean hummus of the food variety!). I think it’s because I’m not diligent enough and need a dedicated composter rather than just attempting it in a hole on my yard. Perhaps I’ll try again. The soup looks yummy and perfect for spring. Thanks for the tips on streaming egg--it’s definitely a bit tricky.
