I am a freelance illustrator and fine artist. My pastel illustrations have been used as editorial art, on posters, menus, brochures, and calendars. My assignments have frequently called upon me to create imagery around food and dining. I enjoy returning from a trip to the farmer’s market, arranging a still life on my kitchen counter, and turning it into a still life. After the artwork is done, the cooking begins. Art and the presentation of a meal both have a strong visual component that I explore in my newsletter.
