My mother would have LOVED this. Since we don’t use pesticides in our yard, we have lots of dandelions (or blow flowers as our sons used to call them ).
Your description of the festive springtime farm event with children wearing bright yellow dandelion crowns made me smile. Now I'm on the hunt for dandelions.
Love the idea of using dandelions. Growing up in rural Illinois, they were abundant, but not so here in Tucson. I will send this recipe off to my cousins, who no doubt have a few flowers in their yards. Thank you!
Love this, Vicki! I can just picture those young girls cavorting around with their dandelion crowns—so sweet, primal and springlike! Thanks also for the recipes. Unfortunately I can’t think where I’d find pesticide-free dandelions in these parts. Peanut butter is plentiful, however!🌼🥜

We are at the beach with family and I just served it with crackers and brie. They thought it was better than regular honey. Thank you for commenting!

Thanks, Ruth. We are lucky to have a lawn of weeds!
Ha, ha! We have a “lawn” of succulents.
